As part of the transition of TSAS activities, Samsic Assistance Canada’s top priority is to ensure seamless service continuity starting September 1st, in close collaboration with TSAS and the airlines.
To support this transition, 342 job offers—representing more than 95% of the TSAS workforce—have been extended to employees. This approach takes into account both the preferences of client airlines and the existing training of each employee, ensuring a smooth and efficient handover.
As of August 19, nearly 41% of the affected employees have already signed their contracts with Samsic Assistance Canada, reflecting strong momentum and a shared commitment to sustaining operations.
The objective is clear: to guarantee an uninterrupted resumption of services on September 1st, in the best interests of client airlines, employees, and the Montréal-Trudeau International Airport ecosystem.
Furthermore, starting September 1st, Samsic will roll out a comprehensive training plan to ensure as many employees as possible are qualified on our partner airlines in Montréal, strengthening both skills development and team versatility.
Regular updates will be shared to keep you informed on the number of colleagues joining our teams.
