General Manager Canada – Spotlight on Cédric VOGT

With more than 30 years of experience in airport ground handling, Cédric VOGT is a true pillar of our industry. Since March 2025, he has been based at Montréal–Trudeau (YUL), bringing his expertise to Samsic Assistance Canada.

A rich and diverse career path


His journey began in 1994 at Marseille-Provence Airport (MRS), starting out as a baggage handler and then catering truck driver for Assistair, later acquired by Aviapartner in 1998.In 1996, he was entrusted with opening and managing the Toulon station for catering deliveries, before returning to Marseille in 1999 as OPS Manager, then Deputy Operations Manager at Air Assistances, a company specialized in general aviation and express cargo handling, he continued as Deputy Operations Manager, overseeing passenger flights, general aviation, and express cargo handling.



A long-standing history with Samsic Assistance


In November 2013, he joined Samsic Assistance in Fort-de-France (FDF) as Operations Manager. After nearly six years there, he was transferred in 2019 to Pointe-à-Pitre (PTP), where he spent another five years and eight months.


A new chapter in Montréal

Since March 2025, he has taken on a new challenge at Montréal–Trudeau (YUL). This move marks another important milestone in his career, allowing him to apply his operational expertise and in-depth knowledge of airport services to support Samsic Assistance Canada’s ongoing transition.


A lifelong commitment to airport assistance

From baggage handling to catering, operations, and station management, Cédric VOGT has dedicated his entire career to airport ground handling. His experience, leadership, and dedication are key assets for ensuring the success of our Montréal operations.
